Day-by-day plan for your journey

Days 1–2

Arrive & Acclimatise

Paro arrival, briefing and Tiger’s Nest acclimatisation hike.

Days 3–6

Jomolhari Stage

Trek via Shana and Soi Thangthangkha to Jangothang base camp.

Days 7–10

Lingshi to Laya

Cross high passes through Lingshi and Chebisa to the village of Laya.

Days 11–16

Into Lunana

The crux of the trek — multiple 5,000 m passes into remote Lunana.

Days 17–22

Lunana to Sephu

Cross the final high passes and descend toward the road at Sephu.

Days 23–24

Drive to Thimphu/Paro

Long scenic drives back to the western valleys with a celebration dinner.

Departure

Transfer to Paro airport for your onward flight.
