Arrive in Paro

Arrival, gear check and acclimatisation in Paro valley.

Paro to Jele Dzong

Begin the climb to Jele Dzong (3,480 m) with valley views.

Day 3

Jele Dzong to Jangchulakha

Ridge walking through forest with yak herder camps.

Day 4

Jangchulakha to Jimilang Tsho

Trek to the famous trout-filled lake (3,880 m).

Day 5

Descend to Thimphu

Cross Simkota and descend to Thimphu; transfer to hotel.
