About Phobjikha
Phobjikha (also called Gangtey) is a wide, glacial valley on the western slopes of the Black Mountains. Each winter it welcomes hundreds of rare black-necked cranes that migrate from Tibet, making it one of the most important wildlife sanctuaries in the Himalayas.
